Just a Boy’s Game (1979)

Frankie Miller starred in Peter McDougalls TV film Just a Boys Game receiving rave reviews for his performance. He also wrote and performed Rules of the Game for the soundtrack.

Set in Greenock, in Scotland, this hard hitting drama perfectly captures the hard man culture of the west of Scotland.

Frankie Miller

Frankie Miller , born on 2nd November 1949 in Glasgow , Scotland is a rock/soul singer/songwriter who had moderate success in the 1970s .

He had low-charts placed hits in the seventies and eighties with “Be Good To Yourself” and “Caledonia”, reaching his highest position of number six on the 14th of October 1978 in the U.K. charts with “Darlin’”.

He suffered a massive brain heamorage in New York on August 25th 1994, which lead to a five-month coma. He has since been in rehabilitation, relearning how to walk and talk.

Frankie has released a new album - Long Way Home .
An album of previously unreleased material recorded in the 1990‘s.
